2017 was a year of change. Before 2017 began and fully developed the grocery industry was analog...period. Retail grocery was traditional with few industry professionals here and there wondering where digital might be a realistic option. That traditional road to success was was thought to be paved with item and price within the usual four walls of brick and mortar.

As 2017 developed subtle changes took place allowing grocery professionals everywhere to realize digital was here to stay and these subtle shopping changes might actually begin to have some retail sales impact.

Many have asked why I choose to write about what I see in the supermarket industry today and my ideas. At Bad Adz, & Adlife we believe great ideas and the resulting branding will give new life and direction to any company. So for that reason we chose to open the discussion.
